A photo-etched detail set for the A6M3 Zero 32 model in 1:144 scale is not an airplane kit but an accessory to a model you already own. According to the name there are two identical sets in the box, so they will cover two machines.

This is an accessory from the Czech maker Brengun, not an airplane model. The set is cut for the Sweet kit and serves to make the small features on a finished model look thin and sharp. The mention of two sets in the name means the box holds two identical photo-etched frets, so they will cover two machines, or leave you a spare when a small part goes missing.
A model of the Japanese A6M3 Zero model 32 fighter measures only a few centimeters in 1:144 scale. Injected plastic has a technological limit on thickness, so fine features look bulky on it even when the mold is otherwise well made. Etched sheet is an order of magnitude thinner, it has sharp edges and it can be bent into a true shape. It is in a scale this small that the difference shows most, because the eye compares the fineness of the detail with the overall size of the model.
Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface; never break them out with your fingers. Degrease the etched parts with alcohol before painting, otherwise the primer will not hold on the smooth metal. Make the bends in a bending tool or between two razor blades; for a sharp bend a brief anneal over a flame helps, as it softens the metal. They are bonded with super glue applied in minute drops with a wire or a wooden stick. It is a good idea to sand the spot where the photo-etched part is to go perfectly smooth first, so that the new component sits with no gap.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
