Masks for the Eurofighter EF-2000A Typhoon in 1:144 scale (Peewit) are die-cut self-adhesive templates for the glazing. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
Note that this is not an aircraft model but a set of masking templates. The Czech brand Peewit makes die-cut self-adhesive masks for plastic models, typically for canopy frames and for wheels. In 1:144 scale a mask makes the most sense of all scales: the canopy frames are so narrow that they are almost impossible to paint with a brush, and paint that runs over ruins the impression of the whole model.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European supersonic combat aircraft developed in cooperation between several states. It has a delta wing with canard foreplanes and from the start was designed as a machine with unstable aerodynamics held in flight by an electronic control system; the pilot thereby gains agility that a conventional design could not reach. The single-pilot version makes up the majority of the machines delivered and serves in several European air forces in the fighter role as well as the strike role.
Lay the masks onto clean and degreased glazing and press them down with the point of a pair of tweezers so that paint does not run under the edge. In 1:144 scale, work in good light and with a magnifier, because the pieces are very small. Spray the frames in the interior color first and only then in the external shade. Apply the paint in several thin coats; a heavy coat tears when the mask is lifted. Lift the mask while the paint has only set, not cured.
The set holds masks only. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
