A printed display base for models from Mark I, reproducing a grass surface in 1:144 scale. It is neither a kit nor an accessory to a model, but a separate paper base (a cardboard sheet) on which a model shows to striking advantage both in photographs and in a display case.
The base creates a natural grass surface under models in 1:144 scale, whether for a field airstrip or for a simple diorama. Thanks to the general grass motif it can be used for models in other scales as well. You need only lay it on a flat surface and place the model on it.
We recommend mounting the base on a stiffer board or weighting it, so that it does not curl. The grass effect can be heightened by scattering static grass in places. For a longer life a coat of matte protective varnish suits, which protects the surface against abrasion.
This is a printed base, not a model and not a kit. The models in the photographs are not included.
