About product

Peewit 1:144 Lavochkin La-7 - mask set

This is not a kit but a set of die-cut self-adhesive masks for the glazing. The masks follow the canopy frames of the Soviet single-seat fighter La-7 from the end of the Second World War in 1:144 scale and ensure a sharp transition between the color of the frames and the clear part.

Use

  • Take the mask off with tweezers and stick it onto the degreased glazing.
  • Press the edges down thoroughly against paint bleeding.
  • Spray in thin coats and take the mask off carefully once dry.
  • The die-cut shape saves time when masking in a small scale.

Who the set is for

For modelers building the La-7 in 1:144 scale who want precise canopy frames with no cutting masks out by hand.

The set contains neither the model nor paints; it serves only for masking while painting.
