Responsibility details are not available.
A set of photo-etched parts for a model of the MiG-15 jet fighter in the small 1:144 scale from the Czech maker Eduard of Obrnice near Most. It is a detailing accessory intended to refine a plastic kit, not a standalone aircraft model. In such a small scale, photo-etch adds the fine features that cannot be made thin enough in injection-molded plastic.
The MiG-15 was a Soviet single-seat jet fighter of the turn of the 1940s and 1950s with a swept wing and a prominent circular air intake in the nose. It became famous for its use in the Korean War, where it was among the most feared opponents. It was built in large numbers and served in a number of air arms around the world.
The photo-etched parts are taken out of the fret, shaped and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). In 1:144 scale, tweezers and a steady hand are recommended, as the parts are very small. Once glued down, the photo-etch is filled or painted together with the rest of the model.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
