The starter set (model set) contains an injection-molded plastic model of the American carrier-based F/A-18E Super Hornet in 1:144 scale along with basic paints, a brush and glue. The small scale gives a compact model suitable for a display case; as a rule decals with markings are enclosed as well.
The F/A-18E Super Hornet is an American single-seat carrier-based multirole fighter of the US Navy. It grew out of the smaller F/A-18 Hornet, but it is larger, with a longer range and a higher weapon load. It forms the backbone of the strike power of American aircraft carriers.
Separate the tiny parts carefully and glue them with modeling cement for plastic. Paint the light gray naval finish evenly, stir the enclosed paints and apply the decals onto a gloss base, so that no silvery edges form. Paint the underwing armament separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. In this starter set the basic paints, the brush and the glue are part of the package; further accessories are not.
