A decal sheet with markings for the American B-25J Mitchell bomber in 1:48 scale, the fourth part of the series.
Responsibility details are not available.
The North American B-25J Mitchell is an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War. It served on most fronts and in many modifications, so machines differed from one another not only in coloring but in armament and in the insignia on the fuselage. That is exactly why it is worth getting separate sheets of markings for it.
This is the fourth part of a series of sheets intended for the B-25J Mitchell in 1:48 scale. Which particular machines the sheet covers and what coloring they have belongs in the instructions enclosed with the sheet; those also tell you which kit the markings fit. Sheets from one series can be combined, because each part brings different machines.
Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive form; a self-adhesive film that has been soaked is ruined beyond saving, whereas a wet decal that has not been soaked can be soaked at any time later. With the usual wet form, proceed as follows: cut the item out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it starts to slide on the backing paper. Carry it over to a smooth glossy surface, press the water out from under it with a soft cloth and let it dry thoroughly. On broken-up places a decal softener helps. At the end, go over the finished markings with varnish so that the edges disappear.
For modelers who want to build a machine other than the one a kit offers. The model, paints and varnish are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
