Wheels for the Jeep Willys in 1:16 scale bring resin wheels of the light utility vehicle with a modeled weighted contact patch.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of wheels for the four-wheel-drive Willys MB, that is, a light utility vehicle with a quarter-ton payload, including the spare for the rear panel. The tires have a modeled weighted contact patch, so the finished vehicle does not look as if it were floating above its base.
The Willys MB was a small four-wheel-drive cross-country car whose development the US Army ordered at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s. The result was a machine without anything superfluous: a short wheelbase, a folding windshield, a canvas roof and drive to both axles. Several hundred thousand were built and it served absolutely everywhere, from the coast of Normandy to Burma, as a liaison vehicle, an ambulance, a tractor for light guns and an improvised weapons platform. After the war a whole civilian class of cross-country cars grew out of it. One of its characteristic features was the coarse cross-country tire with a chevron tread.
Rinse the castings, remove the casting blocks and level the surface; cover your airways when sanding. Glue the wheels on with cyanoacrylate glue and watch that the sagged area stands on the ground. The chevron tread will stand out after a dry brush in a lighter shade and after dusting with pigment; the spare at the rear tends to be less dirty than the wheels on the axles, which is a small thing the eye notices on a large model.
You get the wheels unpainted, and glue and paints do not belong with them, unless stated otherwise.
