1:16 German tanker with arms backward-WWII is a large resin figure of a German tanker with his hands clasped behind his back.
Responsibility details are not available.
The figure in 1:16 scale captures a man in a moment of calm: he stands upright, with his hands behind his back, looking ahead. A stance like that suits a vehicle parked out of combat, when the commander is watching the crew work. The casting is of good polyurethane resin and the digital master was created by Roberto Reale, the regular sculptor of the Italian studio.
German tank crews wore a short double-breasted blouse without tails and trousers gathered at the ankle, both in black in armored formations or in gray-green in the self-propelled artillery. The badges on the collar and the shoulder boards reveal both rank and branch of service, so painting this figure is at the same time a small lesson in uniforms.
At 120 mm the transitions of shade can no longer be skimped. Apply the primer with an airbrush, build the body of the blouse from a dark base toward brightened edges and bring out the folds with a thin shadow coat. Black cloth is best painted as a very dark gray-blue, because a pure black surface swallows all the detail in it and flattens the figure.
The box comes without paints, glue and a base.
