Accessories set number 1 for the model of the British Universal Carrier Mk.II tracked carrier in 1:16 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Universal Carrier was a British light tracked armored carrier of the Second World War. Its low, open-topped body with armored sides carried machine gun teams, ammunition, wounded men and supplies, and the vehicle became one of the most widespread armored vehicles of its time; it was built outside Britain as well. The Mk.II version is among its ordinary production variants.
This is an accessories set for a model in 1:16 scale, listed within the line of accessories for this vehicle as number 1. In a large scale every surface shows, so the vehicle on its own often looks bare, and it is exactly the accessories that give the model the look of a machine in everyday service. What the set contains and how the parts are arranged are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are not polystyrene, so ordinary cement for plastic models will not bond them; use cyanoacrylate glue and apply it in a minute quantity. Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the rest off carefully so that you do not touch the surface. Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap before painting and let them dry, because a primer holds considerably better on a degreased surface. Dry-fit the fine parts beforehand and only glue them afterward.
This is an accessories set, not a vehicle kit. The model, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
