This replacement accessory is aimed at the wheels of the six-wheeled American armored car in a large scale. The designation sagged in the name refers to a form matching a vehicle standing on the ground. Which kits the set is cut for is likewise part of the name, so compare that against what you have under construction before ordering.
The M8 was a light armored car of the US Army, built for speed and range rather than for staying power in a direct fight. An open turret with a small-caliber gun, thin armor and six driven wheels made it a machine for reconnaissance, liaison and patrol duty. It served in Europe and in the Pacific, and after the war it went on appearing for a long time in the armies of a number of states, so it offers a wide choice of markings and settings.
With a six-wheeled vehicle the most important thing is that all the wheels touch down at once; stand the model on glass and check against the light whether a gap shows through anywhere. Paint the hubs and the tire separately and unify the boundary only at the end. Settle the dust mainly on the inner sides of the wheels and at the wheel arches, where in reality it clings most.
