The real subject

The Nomad Mk.I is the British designation of the single-engine Northrop attack aircraft of the A-17 series, which was created in the 1930s and delivered to several Allied air arms. Machines under this name served mainly on training and auxiliary duties. A characteristic feature of the type is the long two-seat cockpit with glazing stretching over a large part of the fuselage spine.

How to work with the masks

First wash the clear part and let it dry, as grease from fingers is the most common cause of paint seeping under a mask. Lift the masks off with tweezers and, once they are in place, press them down all the way around. Spray in several thin coats, not in one heavy one, otherwise a ridge forms at the edge. It pays to spray the interior shade first and only then the outer color. Lift the mask off shortly after the paint has dried, in a pull at a sharp angle. Wipe any adhesive residue away with a cotton bud moistened with water and finally polish the glazing.
