About product

U-STAR Aging Enamel Powder, Gunmetal Black

A fine weathering pigment in a dark gunmetal black shade intended to create the effects of soot, smoke, worn metal and aging on models and dioramas. It is a loose powder, not an opaque paint.

Use

  • It is applied with a dry brush to barrels, exhausts, the area around the engine and metal surfaces under load.
  • For a permanent effect it can be fixed with a modeling fixative or with thinner.
  • It is combined with other pigments to layer smoke and dust effects.
  • Suited to military vehicles, weapons, buildings and diorama scenes.

Who it is for

For modelers and diorama makers who want to imitate soot, smoke and the wear of metal parts realistically.

It is a fine powder, so do not inhale it, work in a well ventilated space and protect your airways.
