A copper metallic shade for accenting with a dry brush and for working on the wear of a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a metallic shade of copper. Metallic shades differ from ordinary paints in that their pigment reflects light, so the result changes with the angle of view and with the lighting; on a finished model it therefore reads livelier than a flat color. Stir the bottle thoroughly before work: with metallic shades the pigment settles at the bottom especially readily, and paint taken out without stirring tends to have almost no sheen.
The method is simple but does not take haste. Load a small amount of paint onto a brush with stiffer hair, wipe most of it off on paper and only then pass lightly over the edges and the raised detail. The paint clings only to the highest points and the shape comes out. Add little by little and rather in several passes, because it cannot be taken back. With this technique the paint is usually not thinned; if you do need to thin it, use the thinner intended for this line and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
Anywhere bare or rubbed metal is to show: edges, handles, fittings, gearboxes, cartridge cases or small equipment. It also serves well as a base under the greenish bloom that forms on copper over time.
Brushes and thinner are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The volume of the package is given on the packaging.
