The product carries the name of the shade Magenta. It is a paint from the assortment set aside for the drybrushing technique. It is not a kit and not an accessory to a model. The name of the shade is the only piece of data in the name of the product.
Drybrushing is often associated only with light gray and sand. A saturated shade, however, has a different place in a palette: it is reached for not in order to bring out edges by itself but in order to shift another shade. Mixing a small proportion of a saturated color into a highlight tone changes its character without changing its lightness, and the edges then do not look chalky and dead. That is precisely the most common complaint against drybrushing, and it is dealt with in exactly this way.
A saturated shade can also be used directly, if the model will take such an accent — stylized machines, fantasy and sci-fi subjects, sports and competition machines or decorative parts of a diorama. Here too the basic rule holds: a minimum of paint on the brush and building the effect up in layers.
For modelers who mix their own highlight tones and for anyone who works with strongly colored subjects.
Keep the paint tightly closed and out of the reach of children, and ventilate while working. You will find the instructions for thinning and processing on the manufacturer's packaging.
