Luftwaffe latch 1:18 is a photo-etched set of seven period latches and catches of German aircraft for detailing large models. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory.

This is a photo-etched detail set from Yahu Models, not an aircraft kit. It contains seven miniature latches and catches typical of the service covers, cowlings and panels of German aircraft of the Second World War. The parts are intended for the large 1:18 scale, where small metal items are clearly visible.
The latches and catches replace simplified or missing detail on plastic hinged covers and maintenance doors. Thin metal sheet gives the realistic, crisp shape that injection-molded plastic cannot. The items also suit advanced modifications and super-detailing.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a cutting mat, clean up the edges and bend them over a metal ruler or in a photo-etch bender. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with epoxy. Before painting, degrease the metal parts and go over them with a primer for metal.
This is a detail accessory, not a model on its own. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
