This kit from Zvezda captures the Soviet SB-2 fast bomber in 1:200 scale. It is a snap-fit model that can be assembled without glue. In the package you will find injection-molded plastic parts, decals and a display base; the package usually also comes with a card for the Art of Tactic game system.
The Tupolev SB-2 was a Soviet twin-engined fast bomber of the 1930s. In its day its speed let it outrun the fighters of the time, and it was used in the conflicts of the late 1930s and early 1940s, from the Spanish Civil War to the beginning of the Second World War.
The parts join without glue, but for strength it is worth securing the joints with a drop of cement. A small model paints well with an airbrush; small details and markings are finished with a brush. Fine masking of the camouflage transitions works well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
