SX-Art tint film for the M1235 MaxxPro Dash in 1:35 scale gives the glazing of a model the cast of real armored glass. It is not a kit but an accessory for a model. Target kit: Panda.
Responsibility details are not available.
This self-adhesive tint film from SX-Art is prepared for the clear parts of a model of the American M1235 MaxxPro Dash armored vehicle in 1:35 scale. It is stuck straight onto the transparent moldings of the kit and replaces spraying clear tinting paints. It is neither a kit nor spare parts: the model of the vehicle itself you need to have. The film is cut for the parts of the Panda kit.
The MaxxPro is an American wheeled vehicle of the MRAP category with a V-shaped hull, which deflects the blast wave away from the floor. The Dash variant, with the army designation M1235, has a shorter wheelbase and a lower weight than the base form, so it is more agile in tight terrain and in built-up areas. The cab is high-set and has thick laminated windows, whose color shade is unmissable in photographs of real vehicles.
Wash the clear parts and degrease them properly. Lift the film off with tweezers or the tip of a sharp knife, and do not touch the adhesive side with your fingers. Lay it on dry, line the position up and only then press it down with a soft stick from the center toward the edges, so that the air is squeezed out. If you are still building the model, tint the clear moldings before you glue them into the hull; the access is then incomparably better. Do not varnish over the film, as it would lose the gloss it is used for.
