Holographic film Rooikat 1:35 from SX-Art replaces the blind plastic instrument glass on a model of the South African wheeled combat vehicle with a clear glossy surface.
Responsibility details are not available.
A clear film for the vision ports, the periscopes and the optical glass on a model of the South African Rooikat wheeled combat vehicle. It is an accessory for a finished model, not a kit and not a conversion set.
The film comes onto the model at the point when everything else is done, and its one added value is a perfectly smooth surface. Handle it therefore only with smooth-jawed tweezers and never with your fingers, because grease from the skin is practically impossible to remove from a glossy surface without scratching it. Work on a clean light surface so that you do not lose a small part, and draw dust out of the recess with a blower rather than blowing with your mouth. If a particle does settle on the surface, pick it up on the tip of a toothpick with a little masking fluid, not with a cloth. Sanding or polishing a clear surface with compound makes sense only at the edges; on the visible surface polishing always shows.
The Rooikat is a South African wheeled combat vehicle with all-wheel drive, built for fast movement over long distances in rough country. It carries a rotating turret with a gun and is fitted with a set of observation and sighting devices, which are what the set deals with.
