The de Havilland Vampire was a first-generation British jet fighter with a distinctive twin-boom tail and a short fuselage. The FB.5 and FB.9 fighter-bomber versions served with the Royal Air Force and with a number of other operators. The rounded canopy is a rewarding place for masking.
