The set New Ware 1:72 AC-130J Ghostrider ADVANCED kabuki masks is a masking accessory of kabuki paper for a model of the AC-130J gunship. It is not a kit.

Pre-cut masks of kabuki paper for a model of the four-engine AC-130J gunship in 1:72 scale. The masks are laid on the areas that are to stay free of paint, the model is sprayed and once dry they are lifted off. On a large transport airframe with extensive flight deck glazing this is a noticeable saving of time against cutting shapes out of masking tape. It is neither a model nor parts for a kit, but an aid for the painting phase from the Czech manufacturer New Ware.
New Ware offers three levels of set for this type. BASIC is the basic extent, ADVANCED goes further, and the highest level is EXPERT. The level is therefore a choice of the extent of masking. Check the particular list of areas each level deals with on the box, and go above all by how thoroughly you want to mask the model.
The AC-130J Ghostrider is the newest member of the family of gunships derived from the C-130 Hercules transport. It is based on the stretched C-130J version with more modern avionics and four turboprop engines with six-blade propellers. It carries side-firing armament and systems for precise targeting, thanks to which it serves for direct support of ground forces and for special forces operations. On a model you will tell it from an ordinary Hercules by the sensor fairings and the side openings for the armament.
The set is an accessory for painting a model. It holds neither the kit nor paints.
