About product

BAe Sea Harrier FRS.1 1:72 (Peewit)

This is a set of precisely shaped self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Peewit, intended for a model of the Sea Harrier FRS.1 carrier fighter aircraft in 1:72 scale. The masks are cut from fine masking paper, which follows the shape of the canopy well and leaves no adhesive residue when removed.

The real subject

The Sea Harrier FRS.1 was a British carrier aircraft with vertical take-off and landing, operated from aircraft carriers. It became famous above all for its deployment in the Falklands conflict, where it carried out air defense tasks as well as attacks on ground targets.

Use

  • You stick the masks onto the glazing parts according to the enclosed diagram.
  • You paint the glazing with the airframe color and carefully remove the masks once it has dried.
  • You get sharp, even cockpit frames with no paint running under.

Who the set is for

For modelers building a model of the Sea Harrier FRS.1 in 1:72 scale who want precise cockpit frames without laborious masking by hand.

This is an accessory, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
