A collector's figure from the Journeyman Miniatures line, a character appearing under the name Saphyr with the epithet Lonewolf. Intended to be assembled and painted.
Responsibility details are not available.
Journeyman Miniatures is a line of stand-alone figures, each of which stands on its own character and its own scene rather than on belonging to an army or a side in a game. The figure from this line carries the name Saphyr and the epithet Lonewolf. A figure of this type is bought for the painting: it has well worked-out modeling, legible folds and an expression, so it rewards slow work with a brush and looks good on its own in a display case as well as as the central character of a small scene.
You will find the size, the material and the number of parts in the manufacturer's documentation. The figure is supplied to be assembled and painted, so do not automatically count paints or a base as part of the package. Before you set to work, go through the parts and try dry how they fit together.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder gently, so that the surrounding drawing does not disappear. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap, let them dry and go over them with a thin coat of primer, on which paint holds considerably better. For gluing, cyanoacrylate glue has proved itself, and epoxy with larger joints. Apply the paint thinned and in several coats, as a heavy coat floods the fine relief. First lay out the base tones, and only then darken the recesses with a glaze and lighten the raised edges.
Paints, brushes and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
