1:72 Nakajima Ki-43-II/Ki-43-III Hayabusa Undercarriage Bay Masks is a landing gear bay masking set for two later versions of the Japanese army fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
According to the name the set is listed for both later versions of the Hayabusa, that is the Ki-43-II and the Ki-43-III. It covers the inside of the landing gear bays, so that once painted it keeps its own shade even after the top varnish of the airframe has been sprayed. The set is for 1:72 scale.
The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa went through successive revisions during production. The Ki-43-II and Ki-43-III versions differed from each other mainly in the powerplant and in partial changes of equipment, but the lower part of the airframe stayed close in its basic features, which with accessories of this kind is reflected in a shared set.
The most common reason paint creeps under is a lifted edge in the inner corner of a bay. Press the film down gradually, therefore, from the middle toward the edges, and in the corners press it with a blunt point, not with a fingernail. Before fitting, the surface must be dry and free of grease from the fingers. If you spray several coats, check the edge quickly between them, because a lifting edge is visible before the paint has time to get under it.
