Omask wheel bay masking plugs - Bf 109 F-2/F-4 1:48

A set of springy foam plugs from Omask intended to cover the wheel bays of a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-2/F-4 fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit part or a paint but an aid for painting: the shaped plugs fill the openings of the bays exactly, so that the inside of them stays clean while the primer and the top color are sprayed. The plugs are shaped for the Bf 109 F kit from Eduard.

Use

  • Insert the foam plugs into the openings of the wheel bays before painting.
  • They prevent primer and paint from getting into the interior of the bays and onto their walls.
  • Once the paint has dried, the plugs are easily taken out without damaging the surface.
  • The springy foam adapts to the shape of the bay and can be used again.

Who it is for

For modelers who want a clean separation of the exterior finish from the wheel bays and to avoid laborious masking with tape. Suitable when building the Bf 109 F-2 and F-4 versions named.

This is masking equipment, not a model. Paints, glue and a kit are not included in the package.
