• Place the corner piece so that the drawers can be pulled out even once the assembly stands against a wall
• Label the drawers; with a modular system the contents grow quickly
• Store heavy things in the lower modules; the assembly will be more stable that way
• Leave enough room above the assembly for setting a part-built model down
