A standalone detail set in resin in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It is not a tank model but a replacement commander's cupola that you fit to a kit of the Israeli Magach 3 tank in place of the part from the box. The casting offers crisper detail on the vision blocks and the hatch than plastic parts usually do.
Magach is the Israeli designation for tanks of the American-built Patton family. The Magach 3 is based on the M48 type and in Israeli service it went through a number of modifications, among them the characteristic low commander's cupola with panoramic vision blocks. A faithful rendering of this feature markedly changes the look of the turret.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before fitting, check how it lines up with the opening in the turret and adjust it carefully if needed. Once primer is on, the vision blocks come out well with dry-brushing and a wash.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
