A set of resin road wheels for the Soviet and Russian T-80 tank and for the 2S19 Msta self-propelled howitzer in 1:35 scale. According to the name this is the version with burnt-out rubber, that is wheels after a vehicle fire, where only a deformed remnant of the band is left and the metal disc is exposed. It is not a vehicle kit but an accessory for modelers who build destroyed, abandoned or burnt-out equipment and want the state of the running gear to match the rest of the scene.
The T-80 is a Soviet main battle tank that differs from related types in its power unit and in the layout of its running gear. The 2S19 Msta self-propelled howitzer of 152 mm caliber uses a chassis derived from the same family, and so it shares part of the running gear with the tank, road wheels included. That explains why one set covers both vehicles. The rubber band on road wheels is the first thing to burn in a vehicle fire, so wrecks typically have bare or partly exposed discs.
Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water and cut off the casting blocks, then level the surface; protect your airways when sanding resin. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Painting a wreck rests on layering: a dark base, burnt metal shades, soot and matte pigments. The transitions between charred rubber and scorched discs look best when they are not done in one shade but in several light passes from an airbrush and finished with a dry brush.
