A small accessory for figures in 1:48 scale: the American M1 helmet with a camouflage cover.
Responsibility details are not available.
The steel M1 helmet was for decades the standard headgear of the American soldier, from the Second World War until newer types were introduced. A cloth cover was stretched over it and held by a rubber or cloth band; it was the cover that gave the helmet its camouflage pattern and changed its look according to the theater and the period.
An accessory for figures and for a scene in 1:48 scale in the form of an M1 helmet with a camouflage cover. The same product line also offers other headgear, so a whole group of figures with uniform gear can be put together. The part is barely a few millimeters across in this scale, so expect to work with tweezers and with good lighting.
It suits a modeler who is building a diorama or a vignette with American soldiers in 1:48 scale and wants the gear to be more faithful than a cast figure allows. It also comes into its own as an item laid aside in a scene, on a crate, on equipment or on a vehicle.
Figures, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
