A plastic kit of the fictional racing special Asurada AKF-0 in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Aoshima. The model belongs to a complete model range devoted to the machines from the world of Cyber Formula and captures the body of a single-seat racing car with aerodynamic elements that have no counterpart in real motorsport.
The real subject is not an actual racing car but a machine from a fictional racing world. The designation AKF-0 belongs to a particular machine of the range, and the addition Saga in the name distinguishes this form from the other kits of the same series, which represent other machines or other configurations. The individual variants differ from one another in the shape of the body, in the aerodynamic parts and in the color scheme, so they are not confused within a collection.
The body will take the most work. Sand the mold seams down, refine the surface with fine paper and polishing, and only then apply a primer. Spray the base shade with an airbrush in thin coats and leave time between them for drying, so that the paint does not ripple. Overcoat with gloss varnish before the decals, and once they have dried apply the final varnish in the gloss you want. Finish and paint the cockpit and the small parts before you close the body. Weathering is not used on a model of this type; the aim is a clean gloss surface as on a show car.
The model is supplied as a kit, that is, unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
