Plastic kit of the rally coupe Lancia Fulvia HF in 1:24 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Lancia Fulvia is an Italian coupe of the 1960s which differed from most of its rivals in two ways at once. At the front it has a narrow-angle V4, the marque's characteristic engine, and it is driven by the front wheels at a time when rally cars were built mostly with rear-wheel drive. The HF version was the competition form of the car, lightened and modified for fast driving on rough surfaces. It was precisely in rallying that the Fulvia made its name: at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s it was among the very best and in 1972 it won the Monte Carlo Rally. A small front-wheel-drive car was winning thanks to its handling and its endurance, not thanks to power.
The model is a plastic kit in 1:24 scale, the usual scale for cars. The finished car is about the size of a hand and offers enough room for the details of the body and the divisions of the interior to come into their own.
On a car it is above all the surface of the body that decides. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, spray the paint in thin coats and let it dry thoroughly between them. Fill and sand the seams on the body before you reach for the paint, because once sprayed every unevenness shows. Leave the wheels and tires to be fitted at the very end, or they will get in the way both during the work and during painting. Fit the glazing at the end as well, so that it does not fog from the fumes of the glue.
The kit alone is supplied. Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
