Master Box Pin-up series Kit No. 3 (1:24) is a collectible plastic figure of an American pin-up girl in the period style of the 1940s.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure from the pin-up series of the Ukrainian manufacturer Master Box. It represents an American girl styled after the wall calendars of the 1940s and is aimed above all at collectors and at modelers who like to add figures outside the usual military hardware to their display cases. The set contains one figure on sprues; the assembly and the painting are left to the modeler.
Pin-up motifs come out of the American popular culture of the Second World War, when painted girls appeared on posters, in magazines and on the fuselages of aircraft as nose art. Master Box treats this theme in a complete series in which every release has its own figure and pose.
Separate the small parts from the sprue carefully and clean up the mold parting lines. Liquid cement for plastic suits plastic figures. For painting you will appreciate an airbrush for smooth transitions on the skin and a conventional brush for the details; a unifying varnish and a fine wash will bring out the recesses and the folds.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
