This is a painting aid, not an aircraft kit. The set contains shaped flexible foam plugs that you put into the wheel bays before you start spraying paint on the surrounding areas of the model. The inside of the bays then stays clean and free of paint creeping in.
The Gloster Meteor was the first British jet fighter in operational service and the only Allied jet aircraft used in combat in the Second World War. It stayed in service for a number of postwar years as well. Its twin-engine design has prominent wheel bays.
