This is a painting aid, not an aircraft kit. The set contains shaped flexible foam plugs that you put into the wheel bays before you start spraying paint on the surrounding areas of the model. The inside of the bays then stays clean and free of paint creeping in. The plugs are cut for the F-86D kits from Revell and Academy.
The North American F-86D Sabre Dog was an American single-seat interceptor of the 1950s. It differed from the original Sabre in its characteristic nose with a radar above the air intake. A model of this machine appreciates cleanly sprayed wheel bays.
