This is a painting aid, not an aircraft kit. The set contains shaped flexible foam plugs that you put into the wheel bays before you start spraying paint on the surrounding areas of the model. The inside of the bays then stays clean and free of paint creeping in.

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 E, nicknamed the Emil, was a German fighter of the early Second World War and a key type of the Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain. It is one of the most popular modeling subjects, on which care for details such as the wheel bays always pays off.

Use

• Put the plugs into the wheel bays before spraying paint or primer
• The foam adapts to the shape of the opening and keeps paint from getting inside
• Once the paint is dry, simply take the plugs out; they are reusable
• They are shaped for the Bf 109 E model in 1:48 scale
