An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Panther medium tank in the Ausf.F version in 1:72 scale. The model offers detailed running gear, hull and the distinctive narrow turret, and is meant to be glued and painted.
The Panther Ausf.F was the final development version of the famous German medium tank of the late Second World War. Its main feature was to be a new, markedly narrower and better armored turret of the Schmalturm type, which reduced the area exposed to fire and improved ballistic protection. The version never reached series combat service by the end of the war and remained largely at the stage of prototypes and production in progress.
A small scale puts the stress on clean work. Assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull before closing it up. An airbrush suits the late German three-tone camouflage schemes, and washes and dust pigments can be used to bring out detail and add weathering. Do not forget to tidy the seams gently with filler.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
