Responsibility details are not available.
The Curtiss F11C-2 Goshawk is an American carrier biplane from the early 1930s. It came about as a fighter but also served to attack ground and surface targets, and once it was redesignated BFC-2 it carried that dual role in the designation itself. The Hawk II is the export counterpart of the machine from the same family, which Curtiss supplied to foreign users. It is therefore a period in which biplane construction met ever more demanding combat tasks in naval aviation.
A title from Jakab Publishing with the running number 105 in its series. The subject is the Curtiss F11C-2 and BFC-2 Goshawk together with the Hawk II export version. The author is M. Snajdr. It is a publication, not a kit or an add-on set.
The Curtiss Hawk family is rewarding to build precisely because the individual versions differ in details: in the designation, in the armament and in the appearance of the individual users. Source material that tells the versions apart decides whether a model matches the machine chosen or is mixed together from several. A reader who does not build models and is interested in interwar naval aviation also gets something out of the publication.
It is a publication. A model, a kit, decals and paints are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
