TM06 thin needle-nose pliers are Japanese pliers 150 mm long for gripping, bending and holding small parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
Japanese-made pliers with an overall length of 150 millimeters and slim extended jaws. They are not nippers: they serve for holding, turning and bending small parts, not for cutting material. A body longer than that of ordinary modeling pliers gives the hand better reach where fingers or tweezers are of no use.
The most common job is bending wire and brass profiles into precise shapes, holding a heated tip, pressing a photo-etched part down onto a surface or pulling a part out of a tight spot. The long jaws also come in handy when building ships and aircraft, where wire is threaded through the hull and has to be gripped from the other side.
Bend in small steps and check the shape against the drawing; a single overdone squeeze leaves a mark on soft wire. Grip photo-etched parts through a piece of paper so that the edge of the jaw does not print into the visible surface. Do not use the pliers as nippers or to lever out stuck parts, as the slim jaws spread easily. Wipe them dry after work with chemicals.
The longer body is an advantage on large models, where the hand has to reach deeper than short pliers allow.
