The set 1:72 Grumman A-6A Intruder ADVANCED kabuki masks is a modeling accessory for painting, not a kit. The masking parts are cut from kabuki material, that is from the thin Japanese tape that shapes easily and leaves no adhesive residue on the finish once removed. New Ware marks the extent of its sets with the three levels BASIC, ADVANCED and EXPERT; ADVANCED is the middle one. In 1:72 scale the accuracy of masking matters even more than on larger models, because the frames of the glazing are thin and cutting tape by hand comes out worst on them.
The Grumman A-6 Intruder was a carrier-based attack aircraft of the US Navy able to operate by day, by night and in bad weather.
