Omask 1:48 F-104 Starfighter, landing gear bay plugs (for Kinetic) are shaped foam fillers that go into the landing gear bays before spraying and keep the camouflage paint out of their interior. A Starfighter model is not in the package.

Practical masking equipment from the Czech brand Omask, tailored to the F-104 Starfighter model in 1:48 scale from Kinetic. The package holds plugs of springy foam that follow the outline of the landing gear bays. Before painting they are pushed inside and after spraying they are pulled out, with nothing glued and nothing to cut.
A note for the record: this is not a kit. The F-104 model itself has to be bought separately.
The Starfighter has the inside of its bays set apart in color from the skin, and the bays are deep and full of detail. Once overspray gets into them, a repair is next to impossible, and masking every edge with tape takes more time than the whole spraying job. A plug fills the opening in one go and reliably.
The F-104 Starfighter earned the nickname missile with a man in it, a supersonic interceptor built around a huge engine and an extremely thin, short wing. The leading edge of the wing was so sharp that it was covered with guards on the ground, so that ground crews would not hurt themselves on it. An aircraft like that deserves neat paintwork with no blemishes in the landing gear bays.
For modelers who build the Kinetic F-104 in 1:48 and want to save an hour of fiddling with masking tape, and above all to avoid a mistake that cannot be taken back.
