Pre-painted seat belts of photo-etched steel for models of the Northrop F-5E in 1:48 scale. The parts are printed in color and self-adhesive, so it is enough to separate them from the fret, shape them and stick them onto the seat of the ejection seat. A steel base holds a bend better than brass, so the belts look realistically curved. The set replaces the flat plastic or decal belts from the box.
The Northrop F-5E is a supersonic light fighter aircraft which, thanks to its low costs and easy maintenance, spread to many air forces all over the world. It was used as a fighter and as an aggressor machine for training. The cockpit is fitted with an ejection seat with a multi-point harness system, which the set imitates.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, shape them with flat tweezers and run the bends over an edge. The self-adhesive layer is usually enough, and on loaded joints a drop of cyanoacrylate glue can be added. Painting is not needed, and any light edges can simply be touched up.
This is an accessory set, not a model of an aircraft. The kit itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
