About product

White metal accessory 1:35 for the Sd.Kfz. 7 (8 ton) (Friulmodel)

This set brings precisely cast white metal parts for the German Sd.Kfz. 7 half-track artillery tractor in the 8 ton class in 1:35 scale. The metal castings replace the plastic parts of the basic kit, raise the detail of the running gear and add realistic weight. White metal is soft, cleans up easily and holds sharp definition.

Use

  • Clean the remains of casting stubs off the parts and degrease them.
  • Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), which suits metal.
  • Before painting, apply a primer for the adhesion of paint on smooth metal.
  • Metal running gear parts take weathering and dust effects well.

Who the set is for

  • Builders of German half-tracks who want to improve the running gear.
  • Diorama modelers with a visible chassis.
  • Collectors of metal upgrade sets.

The set is an accessory, not a model in its own right. It does not include paints, glue or a kit. Wear respiratory protection when sanding metal and work in a ventilated room.
