1:72 MiG-19 / Shenyang F-6/J-6 EXPERT kabuki masks

MiG-19 / Shenyang F-6/J-6 EXPERT kabuki masks 1:72 (New Ware)

The top EXPERT level of laser-cut kabuki masks from the Czech maker New Ware in 1:72 scale. It is intended for models of the MiG-19 fighter and its Chinese licensed versions, the Shenyang F-6 and J-6. The fine kabuki tape follows the shape of the parts precisely and leaves no traces when peeled off.

The real subject

The MiG-19 was the first Soviet series-produced supersonic fighter. In China a licensed version, the Shenyang J-6, was built, designated F-6 for export, which served with many air forces.

Use

• The EXPERT level is the most comprehensive: besides masking the inside and outside of the cockpit and the wheels, it holds masks for further detail and extra pieces.
• The masks tend to be numbered and come with a placement diagram.
• They are laid on clean degreased surfaces, with the edges pressed down for a tight joint.
• The paint is applied in thin coats, so that it does not bleed under the mask.

Who the set is for

For demanding modelers who want to paint the glazing, the wheels and further detail perfectly without laborious hand masking.

This is a set of painting masks, not a kit. Neither the base model nor paints are included in the package.
