1:48 YF-23 EXPERT kabuki masks

New Ware YF-23 EXPERT kabuki masks 1:48

This is a set of self-adhesive painting masks from New Ware in 1:48 scale, intended for models of the American experimental YF-23 fighter. The masks are cut from yellow kabuki film, which follows the shape of the glazing well and leaves sharp, clean spray edges. The EXPERT designation means an extended scope: besides the canopy frames the set usually also contains masks for the wheels and other masking features for advanced painting.

Use

• Stick the masks onto clean, degreased glazing and press them down along the frames.
• Spray the color of the frames, let it dry and take the mask off carefully.
• Kabuki film is thin and pliable, so it holds well even on curved surfaces.
• Suitable for airbrush and brush alike; it also makes masking the wheels easier when painting tires and hubs.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want a sharp color transition on the canopy of a YF-23 model without lengthy taping by hand.

This is a masking set, not a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
