The Douglas A-1H Skyraider is an American single-seat carrier-borne ground-attack aircraft with a piston radial engine. It appeared at the end of the Second World War, but it made its reputation later: it could stay over the battlefield for hours and carry a load of armament under its wings that the jets of the day could not manage. That is precisely why it was still serving in the 1960s, among other things protecting downed airmen.

They are applied like a decal: the part is dipped briefly in lukewarm water and slid off the backing paper into place, and no decal softener is used on them. They have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on a gloss coat. The extent of the set and the position of the individual parts are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Go over the surfaces the parts will sit on with a gloss coat such as Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22, as a part will not hold on matte paint. Separate the part with the point of a scalpel and, once dipped, carry it with tweezers rather than with your fingers. Lay it down by one edge first, guide it into place and only then press it with a cotton bud from the center outward so that no air is left under it; on intricate places a drop of cyanoacrylate glue helps. Finish the interior before you close the fuselage up, as you will not reach the cockpit later. If the set includes an instrument panel, a drop of clear coat run into the individual dials once they are dry will visually deepen them.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
