Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:32 scale is intended for a plastic model of the American Grumman A-6A Intruder carrier-based attack aircraft. It is neither a kit nor a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without tediously cutting tape by hand.
The Grumman A-6 Intruder is an American two-seat twin-engined carrier-based attack aircraft able to operate in all weather and at night. The A-6A version represents early production, deployed above all during the Vietnam War. The machine became famous for its large bomb load and for an advanced navigation and attack system that allowed it to strike accurately even in poor visibility.
Clean and degrease the glazing of the canopy. Lift the masks carefully off the backing, lay them on the canopy frames and press them into the edges. Fill the small cut-outs between the frames with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats, so that it does not run under an edge. The masks for the wheels separate the tire from the disc. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a shallow angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
