The set brings 3D printed and already painted cockpit instrument panels of the upgraded carrier-based attack aircraft. It is supplied on decal paper, so the parts transfer onto the model like a decal, with no gluing and no painting of dial faces. The package does not contain an airplane; this is an accessory for a kit in 1:32 scale.
The TRAM standard brought a more accurate system for finding and tracking targets. The change shows most on the right-hand station of the bombardier-navigator, where the sensor operator displays and control panels sit, while the left pilot side remains built around analog flight and engine instruments. The cockpit has side-by-side seats, the right one set lower and slightly aft, so both panels are visible at the same time once the canopy is swung open and their different character is immediately apparent. That is exactly why a panel from the standard version is not a full replacement for the TRAM.
Use the set at the part-built stage: first dry-fit the cockpit tub to the fuselage and only then seat the panels. A smooth, degreased and glossy surface belongs under the decal; raised bezels are sanded off the plastic in advance so that the part does not lift a corner anywhere. Do not touch up the color of the dial faces, just fix the panel with a clear coat of the matching sheen once dry. If you want to emphasize the depth, a very fine dark wash in the engraved gaps around the panel is enough; do not let it run onto the print itself.
The accessory is supplied without the kit, paints and glue. Please check the fit with your kit in 1:32 scale beforehand.
