1:32 Bf-109F-4 covers the canopy glazing and cockpit frames of the later Friedrich in 1:32 size.
Responsibility details are not available.
Pre-cut masks matching the shape of the canopy glazing and frames of the later Friedrich, the F-4 form, 1:32 scale. The item does not have the TFace abbreviation in its name, so it is aimed at the outer side of the glazing; the double-sided counterpart for the same machine is listed separately.
The F-4 is the culmination of the whole F series. It received a more powerful powerplant and, on the propeller axis, a 20 mm cannon instead of the lighter weapon of the earlier form, which noticeably raised its effectiveness against bombers. Armor for the pilot's compartment was added and the cooling circuit was modified. In the variant for North Africa the machines were fitted with a dust filter on the intake and with desert equipment; there was also a modification with underwing gondolas for two further weapons, which however worsened the agility.
The cockpit frames of this version are narrow and at large magnification they form a fine pattern which coarse covering immediately ruins. It pays to degrease the glazing before spraying and to press the mask down along the whole length of the edge, so that paint does not run under it. Choose a thin first coat and rather in the color of the frame than in the main camouflage tone; that hides any seepage. Remove it shortly after it has dried, not after days.
