This is a standalone detail set, not a model of an aircraft. It contains pre-printed color steel photo-etched belts for the cockpit of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2/4 fighter in 1:32 scale. The set replaces flat plastic or paper belts with a convincing rendering of the webbing, buckles and fittings. The manufacturer is the Czech company Eduard.
The belts bring the seat to life and are among the most visible details of an open cockpit. The steel version holds its shape well, can be draped realistically over the edge of the seat, and the color printing imitates both the webbing and the metal buckles without any complicated painting.
Separate the parts carefully with a sharp knife on a hard surface and form the bends with tweezers or a photo-etch bender. Bond with super glue applied in small drops. Protect the printed surface from sanding; any unwanted shine can be evened out with a matte varnish.
A detail set, supplied unassembled. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
