The Bf 110 is a German twin-engine combat aircraft of the Second World War with its crew seated in tandem under a long glazed canopy. The G version belongs to the late forms of the type. The long cockpit is both a blessing and a trap for the builder: you can see inside along its whole length, so a finished model gives away every surface that was left with nothing but a single coat of paint.
Colored three-dimensional interior parts, made, according to the name, by 3D printing. The instrument panel, the side panels, the controls and the placards have raised relief and arrive finished in color. The parts are printed on a decal backing paper from which they are slid off in water: a part is dipped in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds, it has no adhesive layer of its own, and a decal softener or a setting solution does not belong here, because this chemistry attacks the printed resin. The set is prepared for the kit from Eduard in 1:48; the range of parts is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
For builders of German aircraft in 1:48 who know that on this type the whole cockpit is visible and who do not feel like painting tiny instruments with a brush. Fitting the parts needs tweezers, a sharp blade, a dish of lukewarm water and patience. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
